EXCAVATION COMPETENT PERSON TRAINING

A Certified Safety Professional (CSP) will conduct on-site training in OSHA's Excavation standards for your company in the Texas Panhandle, West Texas, and SE New Mexico, including Amarillo TX, Lubbock TX, Midland TX, Odessa TX, Pampa TX, San Angelo TX, Hobbs NM, Carlsbad NM, Roswell NM, and Clovis NM. This training will help prepare you to comply with OSHA standards for trenching & excavation, and to handle an OSHA inspection at your excavation site.
The following topics will be covered during your on-site training class:
- Requirements for a "Competent Person" on excavation sites
- How to properly conduct soil tests (visual & manual tests)
- OSHA reg's for shoring, sloping & benching, and trench boxes
- Identifying hazardous atmospheres lurking inside of trenches
- Locate and work safely around underground utilities
All training is documented and certified per OSHA regulations. Plus, each trainee receives a course completion certificate.

CONFINED SPACE ENTRY TRAINING
in the TEXAS PANHANDLE / WEST TX / SE NEW MEXICO REGION
Have an on-site confined space entry training class conducted at your site in the Texas Panhandle, West Texas, and SE New Mexico, including Amarillo TX, Lubbock TX, Midland TX, Odessa TX, Pampa TX, San Angelo TX, Hobbs NM, Carlsbad NM, Roswell NM, and Clovis NM for your entry supervisors, entrants, & attendants. Training materials include a training manual, plus a free model written confined space entry program that you can customize for your company's use.
Topics addressed during your on-site training seminar include:
- Identifying permit-required confined spaces & their hazards;
- Utilizing gas monitoring equipment;
- Methods to safely ventilate a confined space;
- Duties of entry supervisors, entrants, and attendants;
- Requirements for rescue services & personnel;
- How to temporarily reclassify a permit-required confined space to a non-permit confined space;
- When and how to utilize OSHA's alternate entry procedures; and,
- Developing a written Confined Space Entry program that meets OSHA regulations.
All training will be documented and certified per OSHA regulations, plus each trainee will receive a certificate of completion for the course.
